I would consider myself a novice photographer. I have always enjoyed photography but never truly pursued it as a hobby or career. Over the last couple of years, I have had time to learn more about photography and decided to share my work with everyone. Most of my photos are either taken on my GoPro Hero 10 or my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I use various photo editing applications, depending on what I want to do to a photo specifically. I try my best to not edit my photos; I like to keep it the way it was taken.
I work a regular 9 to 5 job during the week, but I hope to someday turn travelling into my career. I discovered a while back that I am the type of person that constantly needs to travel. I always found myself stuck in a rut in my daily life. I am always yearning for something exciting or different, and craving new experiences and new challenges. Travelling pushes me to my limits and gets me outside of my comfort zone. I learn to be resourceful when I am exposed to new places, people and experiences; I feel that most of my jobs throughout my life were not putting me in a similar position or state of mind. Overcoming challenges bring me so much joy, builds my confidence and makes me realize what I am capable of.
Travelling helps me open my mind and realize that there is no one way to live life. It is hard to imagine what life is like in another place until you see it for yourself. Exposing yourself to a different setting or environment will help you discover and consider fresh thoughts and ideas that you have never had before. This is one of the best ways for me to learn about myself. The way I handle the new issues or opportunities that arise during my travels gives me insight into who I am. I always come home after a vacation knowing myself better, and having a fresh perspective on what I want or need out of life.
